Toy Fox Terriers are truly
Toys AND Terriers. Both traits influence their personalities and characters.
As Terriers, TFTs possess keen intelligence, courage and animation. As Toys,
they are diminutive and devoted, with an endless abiding love for their
masters.
Do not let their size fool you. Toy Fox Terriers are BIG DOGS in little
packages. They consider themselves "Super Dogs", making it clear that they
have huge egos and they will try, with all their might, to dominate almost
all situations.

Care
and Grooming
Toy Fox Terriers
are excellent apartment and housedogs. They
can make do with very little space to exercise
because of their size. Although they love to
explore their outdoor kingdom, Toy Fox Terries
should not be kept outside continually. In
cold weather, a coat is necessary, and a word
of warning, TFTs do not like to be wet!!!
They are
economical to maintain because they eat little
and keep their neat appearance with no special
grooming required. A quick weekly brushing to
prevent shedding, nail trim, and an occasional
bath is all that is necessary. Every puppy we
sell comes with a handmade (by Barb) Snuggle
Sack. These Snuggle Sacks grab the dog hair as
it is shed and keeps your TFT neat and clean
at all times.

Toy Fox
Terriers make wonderful companions. They seem to anticipate their
masters' every thought and mood. Nothing escapes their keen hearing
which, coupled with their alert nature, make them exceptional watchdogs.
Toy Fox Terriers are outgoing and friendly dogs,
yet, they are fiercely loyal to their families. It is impossible not to
spoil these funny, loving, intelligent and utterly loyal little dogs.
